The former peat mine railway route follows the line of a narrow-gauge siding built in 1902 from near Struga station to Izabelin. The track, about 7.5 km long with an 800 mm gauge, was used mainly to carry peat from the mine near Złodziejska Góra.

The railway also served the Czarna Struga manor farm and nearby industrial works. In summer it carried holidaymakers too.

After the railway was dismantled in 1923, the embankment remained. It runs along the boundary of the nature reserve and can be seen from the adjacent forest roads. Entry to the reserve itself is prohibited.
