In the forest in Wólka Radzymińska, about 1.3 km west of Dąbkowizna railway station, lie the ruins of a German Regelbau R 120a artillery observation bunker. It was built in 1940–1941 as part of the Warsaw Bridgehead – the Brückenkopf Warschau system of fortifications intended to protect the eastern approaches to Warsaw.

A crew of nine kept watch from an armoured cupola and passed data to the artillery positioned in the rear. The outer walls and roof were about 2 m thick. Inside there was a map room, a telephone exchange, a gas lock and air filtration equipment, among other things, and an MG-34 machine gun was used for close defence.

After the war the bunker was partly blown up and lost its cupola and equipment. However, the flanking casemate, the emergency exit, a storeroom, part of the vestibule and gas lock, and massive fragments of the reinforced concrete structure have survived.
