Nieporęt Marina
Nieporęt Marina is a key part of the Nieporęt-Pilawa Recreation and Leisure Complex on the Zegrze Reservoir. The reservoir was created in 1963 after the dam in Dębe was built and the waters of the Narew were impounded, creating a new leisure area for the people of Warsaw and Masovia.
The complex includes two harbour basins – Nieporęt and Pilawa – which together can accommodate around 250 boats. Sailors can use the marina, a floating fuel station, a boat waste pump-out facility and a public slipway. A distinctive feature of Pilawa Marina is the small red-brick lighthouse on the pier.
The marina is not just a harbour for sailors and motorboaters. If you don’t have your own boat, you can hire a SUP board, a windsurf board, a kayak, a small racing dinghy or a pedalo. On land there is a skatepark, a street workout area, padel, basketball and beach volleyball courts, a playground, an outdoor gym, minigolf and a rollerblading and cycling track. There is a special play area for the youngest, and those looking for peace and quiet can relax by the brine graduation tower.
In season, “Active Sundays” are held here with rollerblading, scooter, tai chi, yoga, street workout and basketball sessions. The complex also hosts concerts, festivals, sporting events and classic vehicle rallies. On site you will find sailing clubs and schools, a local fried-fish bar, a tavern and a professional campsite.
Nieporęt Marina and Pilawa Marina are connected by a footpath and make a good starting point for bike trips – along the embankment by the reservoir towards Rynia or on the route towards Beniaminów. You can reach the complex without a car – there is a bus stop and a railway station nearby.
